Short Outreach Update
This year’s V&A Summer Camp will reach two schools. Not only will we provide a 3 day camp for St Mary and St John, but we will also be working with East Oxford Primary for 2 days. This is down to hard work and planning from our Outreach Officer, Julien Morlet. Both camps will be held in 9th Week, if you would like to learn more about the outreach ethos and goals or would like to participate in the camps themselves please click here or email outreach@vincents.org.
Summer Garden Party, Cricket & Cocktails
Saturday 7th Week (8th June)
There will be two tickets for this event held behind the bar for each member until Fri 10th May (3rd Week). I encourage you to buy your ticket(s) at your earliest convenience well in advance of this date. With this being such a momentous year, demand from non-resident members is high. The event will sell out and with this being our chance to celebrate together in the sun it would be a real shame to miss out.
All day tickets for members will be £40 and you have the option of bringing a plus one at the same price.
Members’ tickets for the evening cocktails will be £25 and guests will be charged £30.
For more information please contact Sam Egerton at cocktails@vincents.org.
Hut Recruitment Dinner
Thursday 1st Week (25th April)
Jack Fletcher sent out an invitation to the recruitment event last week. Dinner will be free of charge and they have also put some money behind the bar. If you are interested please do click on the link below and fire over your CV. With a few recent leavers coming along, the evening should be very enjoyable.
The Hut Group Dinner Invitation
How to Book the Club for Dinner
A message from our Social Secretary
Hi chaps,
I think most of you know me by now, but I am the new social sec for this year and I am in charge of booking the room upstairs for dinner. I just want to mention that if you would like to book for dinner, please email myself and Lenny at kouji.urata@univ.ox.ac.uk and steward@vincents.org respectively.
I encourage all the members to use this privilege and book a dinner at Vincent’s for birthdays and other special events.
May I please remind you that if you are booking a dinner, let me know how many people will be coming and what you would like to eat by one week before. The exact number can however be changed up to three days before. I the menu is currently being altered slightly but will be available online very soon.
Also, if you are bringing more than 15 people for just drinks at Vincent’s, please email us so we know how busy the Club is going to be.
I look forward to seeing many of you up at the Club,
Kouji Urata
May Day
On Wednesday 1st May, Vincent’s will be open from 6AM to 8AM and serving an all-day breakfast accompanied by Buck’s Fizz or coffee. Finish off your May Day celebrations at 1A Kind Edwards Street. Guests are of course welcome.
Social Events this Term
The club will be open every Sunday evening from 7PM-10PM. The goal is for the club to be used slightly less formally during this time to offer respite from academic pressures. The dress code will be the same as lunch time and there will be coffee available. This will run through Trinity term only so please do take a break from the library and relax at the club. Guests are of course welcome.
Dates for other social events such as New Members Steak Night, Quiz Night and Poker Night will be finalised shortly. With these added to the Summer Cocktails in 7th Week and the 150th Anniversary Members’ Dinner on Thursday of 9th week, the Vincent’s social calendar is looking full, exciting and diverse.
V150 Cufflinks

To celebrate our 150th year V150 cufflinks have been designed and are now on sale to membership at £25. The money from the sale of these cufflinks will go directly to funding our refurbishment, our property sinking fund and also the Award scheme. They will be on sale early this week at the club.
